Transfer Bulk Systems carries on the business of designing, engineering, manufacturing and installing high quality bulk chemical handling equipment systems for a wide variety of industrial and power industry related applications. These systems include bulk storage and materials handling in which the process materials handled may be screened, sized, scaled, mixed, pumped, neutralized, stabilized, compounded or injected into a client's particular manufacturing process. The TBS bulk materials handling systems are designed to move the process materials from receiving, to storage, to final process consumption points in the most efficient and economical manner without compromising the long-term integrity of the client's facility or manufacturing process.
Transfer Bulk Systems and its' affiliate Stanco Projects, specialize in designing and building these environmental (FGD) flue gas desulphurization systems. These systems are typically utilized for the coal fired power plant, incinerator based power plants and other industrial stack emission generators that can reduce stack pollution by dry sorbent chemicals injection systems. The target chemical emissions for these sorbent materials are usually, (NOx's) nitrous oxides, (SOx's) sulfur dioxides and various heavy metals such as (Hg) mercury. These systems typically utilize chemical sorbent or reagent materials such as quicklime (CaO), or hydrated lime [Ca(OH)²], soda ash (Trona), powdered activated carbon (PAC) and Urea to chemically bind and precipitate gaseous stack emissions into a solid form that can be collected as a fly ash and properly treated and disposed. Systems also include ESP electrostatic precipitator fly ash agglomeration, cooling, neutralization, stabilization and encapsulation prior to disposal.
All TBS Systems will incorporate specialty TBS manufactured or distributed components that together form the basis of the final engineered solution for the client. These system components could include, bolted or welded storage silos, glass lined silos, geodesic dome covered vessels, pneumatic conveying systems, dry and liquid chemical feed and metering devices, plow mixers, mixing and reaction vessels and process automation controls.
